Audio

The audio originates from the output of the show computer. From there, the audio is split to my studio monitors, my sound processor/amps for the outdoor speakers, and the FM transmitter. Audio can also come from a PTT microphone or pre-recorded audio messages from a button-triggerable MP3 player, which feeds through a ducker in order to 'duck' the show audio when the mic or pre-recorded messages need to have the spotlight. Our speakers run on 70v, the standard (along with 100v) in commercial sound installation. We use mostly Harman equipment, Crown Amplifiers, JBL speakers, DBX sound processing/EQ, etc. accompanied by a Symetrix Edge and Dante networked audio.
